DESIRE'S MESH
snares
golden honey
as it drips
like love's blood
down
down
down
to where
the animals
live;
carrying fluids
& fauna
to wild forests
& beasts.
How often
fires flame
depends
on how much
inflammable juice
runs
in your veins,
& the shimmy
of your soul.
I can hear
my father
laugh.
